What is Event Planning?
There are many different competencies and skills required to succeed in planning and executing a successful event. These include knowledge of different types of events, how to plan and execute them in a professional manner, as well as knowledge of different techniques and tools that can be used to make the event as successful as possible. Compared to other competencies required to work in the events industry, the knowledge and skills required to succeed in event planning are often very specific. This means that there is a great need for training and experience to be able to plan and execute successful events.
