What is Event Management?

Event management is a complex competence that requires both technical and social skills. Technical skills include everything from being able to handle different types of software to manage bookings and planning to being able to use different technologies to keep track of different aspects of an event. Social skills are also important for event management, as it requires a lot of interaction with other people. These skills include everything from communication and negotiation to the ability to manage different personalities.
