What is CNC manufacturing?

CNC manufacturing is a technology used to create precision parts by using computer controlled machines. These machines can cut, drill, mill and shape various materials such as metal, wood and plastic to create complex geometries and detailed products. One of the advantages of CNC manufacturing is that it enables high precision and repeatability resulting in high quality parts. In addition, the process can be automated, which reduces the risk of mistakes and increases the efficiency of production. There are different types of CNC machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes and CNC laser cutters, all of which use different methods of processing materials. CNC manufacturing can be used in a variety of industries such as manufacturing, automotive and medical technology to create components and products efficiently. Similar technologies to CNC manufacturing include 3D printing and traditional turning and milling, but CNC technology has the advantage of being automated and more precise than traditional methods.
