What is Technical Writing?
Technical writing involves writing to convey complex information to a target audience. Technical writing is often used in fields such as engineering, medicine and science, where a high degree of precision and knowledge is required. Technical writing differs from other forms of writing in several ways. First, it is often much more formal and structured. Secondly, it is often about explaining complex concepts and processes in an easy-to-understand way. Technical writing therefore requires a good knowledge of the subject you are writing about, as well as good communication skills.
