What is Six Sigma?

Six Sigma is a technique used to improve processes and minimize variations. It is based on a systematic method to find and eliminate the causes of errors and variations in a process. The Six Sigma technique is often used in industry to improve the quality of products and services, but it can also be used in other contexts, for example in the public sector and in companies. Six Sigma is often compared with other similar competencies, such as Lean and Kaizen. Lean is a technique that focuses on minimizing waste and improving the efficiency of a process. Kaizen is a philosophy that focuses on continuous improvement. Six Sigma and Lean have many similarities, but Six Sigma places greater emphasis on minimizing variations and errors.
