What is Riak?
Riak is a NoSQL database program used to store and manage large amounts of data. Riak is scalable, reliable and user-friendly. Riak has several uses, including for storing and managing web documents, logs, images, video and audio files. Riak is one of the most popular NoSQL databases and is often compared to MongoDB, Cassandra and CouchDB.
