What is Prometheus?
Prometheus is an open source system monitoring and scanning tool. With Prometheus you can easily collect and analyze data from your system. Prometheus is a very useful tool to get an overview of how your system works and performs. Prometheus has many uses, but is primarily intended for monitoring services and applications. Prometheus can be used to keep track of how a service or application works, but also to get an overview of how the system as a whole works. Prometheus is a very useful tool for system administrators and developers.
