What is Product Management?

Product management is a complex competence that includes many different aspects of the company's operations. It is a combination of strategic thinking and operational execution that is required to create and deliver valuable products to the right customers. Product management is not only responsible for creating and delivering products, but also for ensuring that the products meet customer needs and expectations. This means that the product management role often involves a lot of collaboration with other departments within the company, such as marketing, sales and technology. A product manager should have a good understanding of technology and how different technical solutions can be used to solve different problems. They should also have a good understanding of markets and customers, and how these change over time. Product management is a very strategic competence, and product managers often have to think long-term and plan for how the products will develop over time.
