What is Lean Manufacturing?
Lean Manufacturing is a production philosophy that aims to minimize waste and maximize value. It does this by improving processes and eliminating all activities that do not add value to the customer. Lean Manufacturing is often used in the manufacturing industry, but there are other uses as well. Compared to other production philosophies, Lean Manufacturing is more focused on the processes and how to improve them. It is also more adaptable to different industries and businesses.
