What is Lambda?

Lambda is a concept in program development that involves using functions as parameters in other functions. This allows programmers to create code that is more flexible and easier to change. Lambda functions can be used to manage data in different databases, create new APIs and microservices, and to automate different processes. Lambda is one of the most used technologies in serverless computing, a concept where you create and run applications without having to manage any server infrastructure.
