What is Human Computer Interaction?
Human Computer Interaction (HCI) is a subject that focuses on the user interface between humans and computers. There are many different methods and tools in HCI that are used to design and evaluate user interfaces, such as user tests, interviews, prototypes and user-centered design. HCI also involves the study of human factors, cognitive psychology, and interaction design to create a good user experience. There are many similar topics in HCI, such as usability, accessibility, and user experience (UX) design. Examples of other areas within HCI are interaction design, information architecture and user-centered design.
