What is Grails?
Grails is a web framework built on the powerful JVM-based language Groovy. Grails uses conventions to make web application development faster and easier. Grails is a fully functional MVC framework that includes all the tools and techniques you need to build the modern web. Compared to other similar technologies, Grails is much easier and faster to use. Grails uses conventions instead of configuration, making it much easier to create and maintain web applications.
