What is GIMP?
GIMP is a free and open source image editing program that has many of the same features and tools as more expensive programs such as Adobe Photoshop. GIMP is widely used to edit photos and graphics, create and manipulate images, and even create digital artwork. GIMP is a very powerful program and there are many different ways to use it, depending on what you want to do.
