What is Fedora?

Fedora is an operating system based on the Linux kernel and uses the Wayland display driver instead of X.Org. Fedora is developed by the Fedora Project, which is a joint project between Red Hat and other companies and organizations. Fedora can be used on both server and desktop. Compared to other operating systems based on the Linux kernel such as Ubuntu and Debian, Fedora is one of the most popular. Fedora also has a strong focus on being a platform for developers and offers a wide selection of tools and packages to facilitate the development process.
