What is Embedded Software?

Embedded software is the software that runs on devices with limited computing power, such as microcontrollers. This type of software is often optimized to run on devices with limited hardware and is therefore often given less complex tasks than software that runs on more powerful computers. Compared to other types of software, embedded software is often more specialized and tailored to the specific system or device on which it runs. This means that it is often more difficult to reuse or port embedded software to other systems.
