What is Call Centers?

Call centers are places where companies handle incoming and outgoing calls from customers. They are primarily used to provide customer support, answer questions and take orders. Call Centers can be either in-house, where the company has its own department for customer service, or outsourced, where the company hires an external supplier to manage the calls. There are several different programs and systems that are used within Call Centers to streamline the process. Examples of such systems are customer service programs, CRM systems and telephone systems with various functions such as switching, call recording, queue management and statistical reporting. Just as with Photoshop, there are also alternative programs and solutions for Call Centers. Examples of other types of customer service systems are help desk programs, live chat and chatbots. Regardless of which system or program is used, the goal is to create smooth and efficient communication with customers.
