What is Brackets?

Brackets is a text editor for web development. It is free and open source. Brackets is created by Adobe Systems and was first released on February 14, 2014. Brackets has a flowchart that makes it easy to see the entire structure of a code file. The program also includes a live preview mode that updates the web page in real time as the code changes. There are many similar programs, but Brackets differs from other text editors by its focus on web development. Other programs such as Notepad++ and Sublime Text 3 are also very popular among web developers.
