What is BGP?
BGP, or Border Gateway Protocol, is a protocol for managing the routing of data packets in an IP network. It is one of the most widely used Internet routing protocols and is used by almost all Internet service providers. BGP is a very complex protocol and requires a very good knowledge to be used correctly. There are many different configuration options and it is easy to make mistakes that can lead to serious network problems.
