What is Activemq?
ActiveMQ is an open source messaging system that uses the Java Message Service (JMS) API to send and receive messages. ActiveMQ is one of the most popular JMS implementations and is used by many large enterprises. ActiveMQ is a powerful tool that empowers users to create advanced messaging systems. There are many other JMS implementations such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ. ActiveMQ is unique because it has many different protocols supported. This allows users to connect to ActiveMQ from different types of systems. ActiveMQ is also highly scalable and can easily run on multiple different servers.
