What is ABAP-OO?
ABAP-OO is a programming language used within SAP systems to create object-oriented code. The language enables the development of programs and systems with object-oriented design, which means that code is structured in objects with attributes and methods. Just as with Adobe Photoshop, there are also other programming languages that offer similar functions as ABAP-OO. Examples of other object-oriented programming languages are Java, C++ and Python. ABAP-OO enables developers to create modular and reusable code bases, which facilitates maintenance and further development of programs.
