A very requested feature we've heard from you is the possibility to say that you're open to working with any tech, and not any specific programming language. Starting today, this is going to be possible on Demando.

Tick the "Open for all technologies. I am tech agnostic" checkbox and we will match you against companies who are looking for tech-agnostic people to join their team. It's worth noting that you can still select some programming languages you might prefer if you had to choose.

We at Demando strive to build an environment where you can express yourself fully. Both in who you are, but also in what you're looking for in your next adventure, as well as possible. We believe this is another step in that direction.

Today we're releasing a feature that adds the possibility for you to ask questions to the company before you accept their contact request. Now you can ask how many days a week you can work remotely, if you can bring your dog to work, or whether or not they have the culture you are looking for in your next position.

Simply speaking, this will allow you the ask anything you want to about the position or company which the role description does not answer. Once the company answers your message, we will send you an email letting you know that your questions have been answered.

We have now started to add support for customising how often you receive emails from Demando. Starting off with the functionality to change the interval for receiving emails with new matching positions! We will be adding more preferences in the near future!

In this case, you get two interval options, one for how often you want to receive emails when your profile is active, and one for when your profile isn't.

Today we're releasing another highly requested feature to the candidate platform!

Up until now, you have only been able to pause a contact request, but not an active process. Starting today, you will be able to pause a process by choosing between a predefined set of time periods, or if you want to be even more specific, a certain date from the calendar widget.

Resuming of processes

Unless you manually resume the process from the sidebar, once your chosen amount of time has passed, the process will automatically be resumed, and each party will be notified about this via email, allowing you to pick up right where you left off!

Today we're adding a small but very needed feature. Previously, you could only really see what your profile status was on Demando on a desktop computer or a tablet. This wasn't visible on the phone, making it very hard to grasp what was going on. Now though, we've added a small badge in the bottom right-hand corner displaying what status your profile is in.

The following colors of the badge correspond to the following statuses:

• Green: Your profile is active!
• Yellow: Your profile is paused. This means you won't show up in any of the searches companies do for finding candidates, but you will be able to continue your current processes with companies you're already in touch with.
• Red: Your profile is inactive. This means you won't show up in any of the searches companies do for finding candidates.

We hope this addition should make it a little easier to grasp what status your Demando profile is in. We will continue to make improvements to the mobile experience on Demando in the coming months!
